What this is about

So you may be wondering…

To make long story short, this site is a collection of drawings of the daily faces – those we meet every day. It can be your grand mom, the old man next door, the beggars at a crossroad, Mr. President you happened to see on TV last night, etc. etc. Someone with a face, that is.

Many people choose to take photos of them. Yes photography is great, just that I’m not so gifted with it. I can’t afford to get a DLSR neither – see, I don’t even know how to correctly spell it.

Some wants to go wandering thousands of miles. Some other cities. Some foreign lands. Some bigger playgrounds. I want to sit here better – life is here already. I’ve seen preachers, I’ve listened to fools – kind of. Nothing wrong with going far of course, just I better don’t (over)look too far.

“But who/what are you?”, you ask.

Well, this is me, the guy behind The Daily Faces:

me

I’m no artist/painter/drawer (hell no). I quit the so called University of Architecture long ago – before they expelled me. I do some sketches as a habit, nothing more, nothing less. You can reach me at http://www.phoenixheart.net also.

Bottom line: It’s not an “A Face A Day” site you’re visiting.
